Pride Celebration: Poetry, Live Music, and More

Pride Celebration: Poetry, Live Music, and More

Presented by St. Johns Cultural Council and STArt Now and Ancient City Poets at The Waterworks

Celebrate Pride with live music by Folk is People, treats from Sweet City Cupcakes, poetry, and more fun for the whole family.

A portion of proceeds will go to House of Prism, St. Augustine's LGBTQIA+ resource center.

Ancient City Poets invite you to share on the subject of Pride. Share your polished poems or bust out some fresh ink from your notebook during St. Augustine's longest-running open mic poetry event. Invite a friend or two or three.

Ancient City Poets plan to create a safe place for sharing the subject of pride.

If you would like to share a poem, please put your name on the list on the day of the event. There is space for 15 poets at 5 minutes each.

At 3:00 PM, the readers will be called to the podium in the order their names appear on the sign-up sheet.
