Saint Augustine Ballet presents their annual production of the holiday favorite, The Nutcracker. Former Miami City Ballet principal dancers, Jennifer Kronenberg and Carlos Guerra, will dance the roles of the Cavalier and the Sugar Plum Fairy. "Over their years of brilliant careers, they became the face of Miami City Ballet; the extraordinary repertoire they achieved was remarkable," Edward Villella, former Artistic Director of Miami City Ballet.
Saint Augustine Ballet's production of The Nutcracker is a magical show that features mischievous mice, dancing dolls, sparkling snowflakes, elegant costumes, custom-designed scenery, and skillful athletic dancing that will charm the entire family. The multi-generational cast is comprised of student and professional dancers as well as several well-known local celebrities. The role of Clara will be danced by Eléa Woodward, a 13 year old Fruit Cove Middle School student.
This ballet classic is a family favorite and has become a holiday tradition for audiences of all ages. This December, let Saint Augustine Ballet take you and your family on an enchanted journey to the Land of Sweets!
