Pablo Cruise

Pablo Cruise

Presented by St. Johns County Cultural Events Division at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall

Presented in partnership with Florida Theatre.

Ruling the adult contemporary charts with its sunny, tropical pop sound in the 1970s, Pablo Cruise reached the top 10 with mega hits “Whatcha Gonna Do When She Says Goodbye?” and “Love Will Find A Way.” After a long hiatus (over 25 years!), the band is back on tour – featuring two of the original founders: David Jenkins (guitar, vocals), Cory Lerios (keys, vocals), plus three new band members: Larry Antonino (bass, vocals), Robbie Wyckoff (vocals, percussion), and Sergio Gonzalez (drums, percussion).

When asked what the name Pablo Cruise means, the band’s answer is something like this: “Pablo” represents an honest, real, down-to-earth individual and “Cruise” depicts a fun-loving, easy-going attitude towards life. And that’s what Pablo Cruise's music is all about. Honest, down-to-earth vocals, with fun yet elegant, infectious grooves. Today, Pablo Cruise brings more energy and excitement to the stage than ever before, and with the addition of Larry and Robby, the band has never sounded better. To hear Pablo Cruise on record is one thing, but to experience the band live is an exhilarating event!
