Martin’s Big Words: The Life of Martin Luther King, Jr.

The San Marco Chamber Music Society is formed by members of the Jacksonville Symphony Ellen and Eric Olson.

The LMCC performance will feature the original composition by Day who is an internationally acclaimed composer, conductor, and pianist whose music often intersects between the worlds of jazz, minimalism, Latin music, fusion, and contemporary classical idiom. He is a leader among emerging youthful classical, music professionals on the national and international stage and the winner of several young composer awards.

He has over 200 works that have been performed throughout the world. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Composition at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario Canada. He is pursuing his DMA in composition from the University of Miami Frost of Music.

The event will take place in the Excelsior Room on the second floor of the Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center.
