Music by the Sea is in it's 12 season and is presented annually by the St Augustine Beach Civic Association. The series is 20 weeks long and features a different band each week playing a wide variety including the genres of classic rock, pop, jazz and blues. Each week patrons can enjoy local cuisine from one of the great restaurants in the area. Food is delicious and always priced at $10 and below. Food service begins at 6pm with the free concert following from 7 until 9 pm. Patrons are encouraged to bring a blanket or beach chairs. A complete list of bands and restaurants can be found on the website. The current parking shortage and the popularity of these FREE concerts have made parking a little tougher this year. There's no hassle when you park at City Hall and hop on the open air trolley that will run from 5:30 until 10 pm. The trolley will pick you up at City Hall and deliver you to the Pier Park. The trolley will also return you to your car when you are ready to head for home. There is room for nearly 100 cars and by using the trolley you can help ease some of the congestion around Pier Park. They are asking for a donation from each adult rider to help defray the cost. Kids ride free with a parent or guardian.
