"YES! We Can!" Women Breaking Barriers

Presented by Tale Tellers of St. Augustine at The Waterworks

Tale Tellers Natalie Beltrami, Kathy Duffy, Robin Mahonen, and Margaret Kaler, with special guests Twila Hudson and Amy Goldin, bring you women’s stories of tenacity, imagination, and transformation. Classic myth, history, and today’s true stories weave a tapestry of women’s lives yesterday, today, and into the future.

What do Annie Oakley, Victoria Woodhull, Mother Jones, Demeter, Persephone and you have in common?

Who was the first woman to run for president?

Who was arrested for advocating free love?

Who was called the most dangerous woman in America?

Which of these women was arrested for murder?

Who was called a demon? And why?

Who was the star of Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show?
