Come see history come to life.
The Historic Florida Militia has partnered with The St. Johns Cultural Council and the City of St. Augustine to keep history alive in the ancient city.
Historically dressed reenactors and interpreters travel around the City’s historic district in an effort to share the rich and diverse history through these timeline saunters. Historians will speak with both visitors and residents about Saint Augustine’s history dating back to its founding in 1565.
The one-on-one personal contact is fun for the visitors, many of whom know that Saint Augustine is the oldest city, but don’t know how it achieved that title.
This event is free and open to the public.
