The Celtic festival is an immersive cultural experience unique in Florida with Celtic music, dance, sports, lectures, artisans, food, and more. With their kilts, tams, shamrocks, and green attire, the audience is as interesting as the performers.
Find the Celt in YOU!
The festival celebrates St. Augustine's authentic Celtic culture and heritage, which includes its founding in 1565 by Spanish Celts from the Sister City of Aviles, Spain, with Celtic colonial Governors and soldiers from Spain, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, and Scotland, and with the first historically documented St. Patrick celebration in America (March 17, 1600).
St. Augustine is, as a matter of historical fact, America’s Oldest Celtic City.
The festival attracts 15,000+, folks of Celtic heritage and beyond. It includes:
• At least 6 internationally known bands + regional acts
• The St. Augustine Highland Games and training clinic
• Celtic artisans & food
• Celtic whiskey tasting/seminar
• Scottish & Irish Clans from around the US
• Historical lectures
• Workshops + master classes
• A self-guided walking tour of CELTIC St. Augustine
• Comedy + magic
