Floetry | Ann Masters Feature with Open Mic - October

Presented by Ancient City Poets and St. Johns Cultural Council at The Waterworks

Ann Masters, Menorcan Poet Laureate, is the featured poet. She will share at 3 PM, followed by a brief book signing opportunity, and then a community open mic featuring the first ten who sign up.

If you would like to share a poem, please see the facilitator at 2:30 PM to get your name on the list on the day of the event. There is space on the list for ten poets at five minutes each. At 3:30 PM, the readers will be called to the podium in the order their names appear on the sign-up sheet.

Share your polished poems or bust out fresh ink from your notebook during St. Augustine’s longest-running open mic poetry event. Invite a friend or two or three. Ancient City Poets has always been open to the public and there is no charge at the door to get your name on the list.

This gathering will be the seventh in an eight-part series of monthly events celebrating creative writing and reciting presented by Ancient City Poets, the St. Augustine PoetFest, and the St. Johns Cultural Council. This series is coordinated by Chris Bodor, in recognition of his role as the Beat Poet Laureate for the State of Florida.
