An Afternoon Visit with Elizabeth Randall, Author

Presented by Romanza at St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church

Acclaimed author, Elizabeth Randall is a widely published freelance writer who has written six non-fiction books and one fiction mystery/thriller:  Fire is the Test of Gold.  She is also a retired English teacher with a Master’s degree in English Education.  Currently, she is an adjunct instructor of English composition at Seminole State College in Sanford while completing her eighth book about Florida:  Secret St. Augustine.

In this presentation, Ms. Randall will focus on her true crime book Murder in St. Augustine, the mysterious death of Athalia Ponsell Lindsley.  Although the crime occurred in 1974, it is still the subject of speculation and discussion locally.  The author discusses what led up to the brazen murder of a St. Augustine citizen on the steps leading to her home, the aftermath, the efforts of law enforcement, the evidence, the suspect, the trial, and the lawyers who prosecuted the crime.  Come and get the true story of this unsolved St. Augustine murder!

Enjoy a glass of wine and cheese and crackers as you listen to Ms. Randall!
