International bestselling author Steve Berry returns to the Ponte Vedra Branch Library’s Book Talk Café program to talk about his latest thriller, The 14^th Colony. Because of water damage to the library’s FOL Community Room, this month’s program will be held at the Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach.

The 14^th Colony is another action-packed Cotton Malone thriller mixing little-known historical fact with a healthy dose of speculative fiction, and asks the question, “What happens if both the president and vice-president die before taking the oath of office?”

History lies at the heart of every Steve Berry novel, which consistently appear in all the major bestselling lists. His books have been translated into 40 languages with more than 21 million copies in print. History is such a passion that Berry and his wife, Elizabeth, created History Matters, a foundation dedicated to historic preservation.

Aside from discussing The 14^th Colony, Berry will share details of his next Cotton Malone thriller, The Lost Order, due out in April 2017. Book Talk Café is presented by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Branch Library, and is free and open to the public. The author will sign copies of his books at the conclusion of his talk.
