Lightner After Hours | Jazz, Chocolate, & Wine

Presented by Lightner Museum at Lightner Museum

Join us at February’s Lightner After Hours event for an evening of enlightening conversation, exceptional music and exquisite treats in Lightner Museum’s Grand Ballroom Gallery.

Blue Muse, an enigma, is true to their name. Formed in 2013, the members of Blue Muse are as eclectic as their music: a former computer consultant recruiting her professor, fellow Jacksonville University students and adjuncts as well as a baker’s apprentice. It is this sense of mystery and thoughtful collaboration that attributes to the diversified sound their fans love. Sarah Lee recognized each member’s passion for jazz as she worked with each musician while attending Jacksonville University on her own quest to follow her life’s passion, music. They also specialize in playing jazz in church, weaving spiritual improvisations through the waves of liturgy and biblical readings to any denomination.

Desserts will be provided by the nationally recognized chocolatier, Crème de la Cocoa. Crème de la Cocoa is a confections company that specializes in beautiful custom cakes, hand-painted original flavored chocolates and desserts with an artistic twist on new and familiar flavors. They love sharing their edible art with you in their shop or at your favorite venue. Stop by our location at 299 San Marco Avenue in St. Augustine, FL.

Locals and tourists alike are welcome to enjoy the atmosphere of the Lightner Museum after hours while relaxing with refreshments before visiting some of the many wonderful local restaurants.

Café Alcazar, located in the Historic Pool area of the museum will be open with a specialty dinner menu from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Free parking is available after 5 p.m.
