Tale Tellers of St. Augustine present THEATER OF THE MIND: STORYTELLING.  "Legendary Women" brings women from the past to life in stories performed by Kathy Duffy and actor Margaret Kaler.  In this program Kaler portrays Emma Edmonds who fought in the Civil War disguised as Frank Thompson and the legendary Danish author of "Out of Africa" Isak Dinesen while Duffy recreates the English explorer Mary Kingsley, British archaeologist Gertrude Bell, and the best friend of Queen Isabella of Castile.

The Tale Tellers of St. Augustine, a non-profit organization of cultural and educational orientation, was founded in 1993 to promote the art and perpetuate the tradition of storytelling.  Dedicated to community enrichment, the guild promotes the art of storytelling by sponsoring its membership in performance.  Guests and new members are invited to meetings, 7 PM, second Mondays, except July.  Information:  904-471-0179.
