Saint Augustine Ballet will hold open auditions for their newest production, "The Ballet of Peter Pan," on Saturday, January 17 at Abella's School of Dance, 17ll Lakeside Avenue, Saint Augustine. All dancers, male and female, who are currently studying ballet are encouraged and invited to try out for a part in the production. Auditions are open to all students of dance regardless of dance studio affiliations. A non-refundable audition fee of $25 will be charged at the time of registration, check or cash only. Registration begins at 8:30a.m.  Dancers must have turned 8 years old by September 1, 2014. Auditions will begin at 9:00a.m. All dancers must bring a 4x6 photo in First Arabesque. Proper ballet attire is required.  Black leotard and pink tights, with hair in a bun for females; black pants and white shirt for males. Female students on pointe should  bring their pointe shoes. Performances will take place at Lewis Auditorium on May 16 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30p.m. Rehearsals are held every Saturday. Dancers must commit to the mandatory Saturday rehearsal schedule. Saint Augustine Ballet is a 501(C)3 non-profit arts organization dedicated to creating dance opportunities for students of dance and providing the community with quality ballet performances.
