Since 1983, when Southern Culture on the Skids formed in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, this raucous, good-natured and good-time band have toured endlessly, performing their unique hybrid of Americana, surf, R&B, rockabilly and swamp pop while driving fans into “ecstatic, sweat-drenched paroxysms of joy”.
