The all-female, surf-revivalist group La Luz will perform with The Shivas on Friday, March 13. Featuring Shana Cleveland, Marian Li Pino, Abbey Blackwell and Alice Sandahl, Seattle-based La Luz brings a relaxed beach-babe vibe to their take on the sweet, thick harmonies of 60’s girl-group, garage and doo-wop bands while delivering thumping, energetic bass lines, danceable surf beats, trembling organ, reverb-and soaked guitar.
