Need to stock up on some books for your next trip to the beach? Shop the Friends Summer Book Sale at the Main Library. As always, the Friday Preview Sale is reserved for members of Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine. Memberships are available for purchase at the door. Scanners are allowed only on public book sale days, Saturday and Monday.

The Saturday Sale features many types of books, including fiction, nonfiction, text, reference, and children’s books, as well as a large selection of special books. There is a great selection of CDs as well.

Plan to come back for the Monday Bag Sale and ½ Price Book Sale and help us clear off the tables! During the Bag Sale, customers can fill a paper grocery bag with books for $4.00. Bags (donated by Publix) will be provided at the sales desk.

Friends holds book sales frequently to raise funds and to promote membership. Everything for sale comes from community donations or materials removed from library holdings. All book sale proceeds support the Main Library’s needs. For more information call the Main Library at the number listed.
