Larry Moore, established nationally recognized artist and illustrator, brings his 40 years of experience in picture making and broad based art history knowledge to the table. He works in oil, acrylic, pastel and gouache. This 3-day workshop focuses on abstraction from nature and small studies. We will concentrate on the components of good painting: color, shape, edge, surface, mark making and composition without the added struggle of rendering stuff. Moving our initial visual explorations further and further into abstraction with attention to unusual painting tools and experimentation.  If you are looking for more freedom in your work, more joy and way more fun… this workshop is for you.
