In his popular book, On Writing, Stephen King endorses the advice he received from a favorite writing teacher: “Write with the door closed, rewrite with the door open.” In her workshop, “From First to Final Draft: Opening the Door,” writer, editor and writing coach Mary Ann de Stefano explores the multiple meanings of King’s advice. She’ll present the workshop at the meeting of the Florida Writers Association’s Ponte Vedra Writers on Saturday, March 28, 10:30 a.m. at the Ponte Vedra Library.

Mary Ann will talk about the various stages of manuscript development, when to go it alone, and when to share your work in progress.
