The Shooter - Gun Violence in America

The Shooter - Gun Violence in America

Presented by Lee Weaver Special OPS at Unknown

In Chicago, at WFIB, TV impresario Joan Blake, with husband Bill, make a tape for PBS in which the gun debate rages. Nine people who have suffered losses are interviewed. The Blakes are on opposite ends of the debate spectrum and their bantering makes for interesting and, at times, tragic theater. Playwright and actor Lee Weaver plays all ten roles with quick 30 second costume changes.  Las Vegas, The Pulse, Charleston AME, Uber in Kalamazoo, Sandy Hook and more are discussed with police, medical personnel, lawyers, concerned citizens, parents, grandparents. You will be moved. A Q and A will follow with Weaver.
