The Alcazar Hotel thrived during the opulent Gilded Age era in St. Augustine. The museum will take guests back to that luxurious time period with its special anniversary theme: “Get Gilded”. Gold, silver, and all things decorative and opulent were the trends of the day. Guests are encouraged to dress in a similar fashion; after all, there can never be too much gold. However, if draping oneself in all things metallic isn’t your thing, festive cocktail attire will also do.

To ease guests into the proper mood, Ramona will be playing lively ballads inspired by early 20^th century sound. Guests will ring in the New Year with a free champagne toast and balloon drop. The museum will have a cash bar serving spirits, wine, and beer. Small bites will be catered by “A Step Above” catering.

The New Years Eve Soiree is open to the public. Tickets can be purchased at Lightnermuseum.org/New-Years. Proceeds from this event allow the Lightner Museum to continue expanding its program schedule and increase audience engagement.
