FWA Ponte Vedra Writers Meeting

Authors are learning that selling books in today’s competitive environment requires more than simply making the title available to readers. Marketing and communications consultant, RaffaellaMarie Fenn offers a seven step approach to sell more books, and she’ll reveal the details in her presentation, “Marketing Matters—Seven Steps to Getting Your Book into Readers Hands,” on Saturday, June 27, 10:30 a.m. at the Ponte Vedra Library as part of FWA’s Ponte Vedra Writers group.

In Marketing Matters, Marie presents these practical ideas published authors can put to work immediately.

Learn to write an actionable marketing plan that will increase your chances of book sales.
Unearth your own unique “brand” and then use it in every aspect of your book marketing efforts.
Discover audience segments that will help light a fire to your book sales.

RaffaelaMarie Fenn is a former senior executive with three decades of business experience and a proven track record of success in integrated marketing and communications programs, including image campaigns, grassroots movements, crisis and issues management, constituency-building initiatives, new product development, consumer and trade media relations, organizational leadership, team building and publishing.

Marie holds an M.B.A. from Jacksonville University and a BA in media studies from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, where she graduated magna cum laude. A member of the Florida Writers Association, she currently serves as President of the Amelia Island Book Festival, and serves as President of Ottima Group and its subsidiary, Giro di Mondo, Publishing Services. Born in Italy, raised in Connecticut, she and her husband, Mark, now make Amelia Island home.

The Ponte Vedra Writers group is part of the Florida Writers Association, a statewide, non-profit organization with over 1,300 members dedicated to the support of both aspiring and published writers in any genre.
