Wednesday Brown Bag Lunch: The Ancient Olive presents: Balsamic Vinegars - Savory and Sweet

Presented by Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine at Unknown

Join Friends as we welcome back The Ancient Olive with a presentation about Balsamic Vinegars. When they last visited the Main Library, The Ancient Olive proprietors Jeffrey Schrader and Bryan Behling educated the audience about Ultra Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil and provided taste tests and treats. At the September program, they will discuss traditional and modern production methods for Balsamic Vinegars, some of which are aged for 18 years. There will be plenty of tastings and some easy recipe ideas for BBQ sauces, fruit and desserts. After the program The Ancient Olive will offer some of their items for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds going to help with Main Library programs.

Patrons are welcome to bring their lunch to the Brown Bag Program. Light refreshments will be provided. The signature Brown Bag Lunch program is free and open to the public, but reservations are required to guarantee seating. Please stop by the reference desk or call the Main Library at the number listed to make your reservation. For additional information, contact Friends President Toni Siriani, toni825@hotmail.com.
