In 2050 A.D.,Secretary of Water, Howard Tucson Owens, recently widowed, struggles to save the planet. Rising Sea levels and Air Pollution have taken an extraordinary toll on Mother Earth. Sixteen hundred coastal communities are gone! The weather is horrible. Farms are struggling. Drinkable water is scarce. Coastal plant life is dying. Wildlife is disappearing and world economies are ruined. His late wife, Sarah, and he came up with "The Solution" and it has been their life's work since 2000 AD. She died three years ago and he has carried on. In "The Solution," Violet Taylor from The Washington Post interviews him for her newspaper.
