A fun evening with local fashion designers showcasing exciting, innovative, and imaginative outfits made from recycled materials. Among others, St. Augustine artist and designer Laura O’Neal will present her magical seasonal creations.
For the fourth year running, Laura O’Neal is a featured artist/designer for the LOVE YOUR MOTHER Eco-Fashion Show on March 31, 2018. The event will be held at Marsh Landing Country Club in Ponte Vedra, FL. The participants will showcase innovative and imaginative outfits made from eco-friendly and recycled materials. The funds raised will be allocated to the local arts by the Ponte Vedra Cultural Center.
Laura is excited to demonstrate her fantastical magical creations at the fashion show. Her theme is “An Oracle of Seasons.” Inspired by the seasons, Laura has not only created the costumes for the show, but she also painted the creations on canvas and wrote original poetry to accompany the pieces. The culmination of this ten months project will be an exhibition-opening at Butterfield Garage Art Gallery on First Friday Art Walk in St. Augustine on April 6. Her models will be informally modeling at the gallery that evening from 5 to 9 pm. The exhibit will be ongoing through the month of April.
