Council on Aging of St. Johns County is a 501-c3 organization. The mission is to lead and advocate for the dignity, independence, health, and community involvement of older St. Johns County residents. The vision is to provide the opportunity for every person in St. Johns County to enjoy wellness, longevity, and quality of life choices within a strong, healthy community.

The Council on Aging has been serving St. Johns County older adults, their families, and caregivers since 1973. During that first year, it served a daily congregate meal in Flagler Hospital to 60 participants and delivered Meals on Wheels to a total of five homebound elders. Today, COA continues to provide meals to five senior centers and Meals on Wheels program. COA’s programs and services are available to anyone in the county and can be paid for privately or subsidized if you qualify and are over 60.
