The North Shores Improvement Association (NSIA) was founded over 80 years ago to improve the quality of life in our community. It represents the area from South Ponte Vedra to the St. Augustine Inlet.

Over the years, NSIA has been successful in representing the community regarding issues and recommendations to county and state officials and has developed many projects to enhance and benefit the community. Members of the Association built the Community Center and Volunteer Fire House, which is now part of the civic and recreational complex at Meadow Avenue and First Street. The property has a playground, tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts, a ball field, a dog park, and a community garden.

The mission is to sustain and improve the quality of life in beachside communities. NSIA provides the opportunity for residents to become stakeholders in the future, encouraging support, sponsorship, recreational, social, and educational activities with your participation and help.
