Old Coast Ales began brewing 10 gallons at a time in the garage many years ago like many other great breweries. The first beer they ever brewed was the Empirical IPA. While that recipe has evolved over time, the essence of it never changed. Now brewing 200 gallons at a time, Old Coast continues the long tradition of “bootstrapping” and hard work to bring a wide selection of your favorite styles to life.

From malty stouts, porters, and brown ales to a double red, a classic ESB, and the refreshing local favorite, Burt’s Summer American wheat ale, there is something for every palate. They offer special barrel-aged ales and, of course, their world-class IPAs.

After many books, projections, podcasts, revised projections, conferences, many trips to speak with brewers, and “sampling” beer all over the country (R&D), Old Coast has set their sights to the sky and there ain’t no turning back!!

The Brewery and Taproom

A comfortable and inviting atmosphere welcomes you as you enter the property adorned with palm trees & sea grapes for a true Florida island experience. The 7-barrel brewhouse is the heart of all Old Coast beers. They are large enough to ensure plenty of beer on-hand and small enough to allow real hand-crafted ingenuity.

The taproom features a custom one-of-a-kind curved bar faced with 100-year-old cypress. Old Coast Ales offers up to 12 taps of pure liquid excellence. With two separate patios, there is ample outdoor seating to enjoy the warm Florida sunshine.

In addition to the in-house craft-brewed beers, Old Coast Ales also offers a selection of wines, N/A kombucha, and all-natural soda.
