Local food/drink pros participating in the St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival

The St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival takes place May 6-9, 2021 at World Golf Hall of Fame and the World Golf Village Renaissance Resort and will feature celebrity guest chefs, celebrity winemakers/proprietors, local chefs, artisans, and local craft spirits/beers.

Tickets to all events can be purchased at staugustinefoodandwinefestival.com

Here are some of the locals participating:

Doug Murr // owner-operator of Dog Rose Brewing Company, 77 Bridge Street, St. Augustine

Doug Murr of Dog Rose Brewing Company

Doug started his professional brewing career in 2001, brewing for Big River Brewing Co./ Gordon Biersch. Those were the early stages of the craft beer movement. Bud was still king and IPA’s were far and few between, never mind sours and funky hybrid styles.

Despite nearly 20 years of experimentation, growth, and experience, Doug finds himself rooted in tradition, brewing classic and “true to style” ales and lagers. Doug and his wife Courtney opened Dog Rose Brewing Co. in October 2017 and have remained focused on brewing classic world-class beers.
