The Accord Civil Rights Museum opened July 2014 in the Lincolnville neighborhood on Bridge Street, just two blocks from downtown St. Augustine.

The museum houses a collection of items from the civil rights movement in St. Augustine and shows photos of Dr. Martin Luther King when he stayed in St. Augustine in the 1960s. Dr. Robert Hayling, a civil rights activist, had his dental practice in the building, the first medical office in the city with an integrated waiting room, according to museum chairwoman Elizabeth Duncan. It was also the place where strategic meetings with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. were held.

The Civil Rights Museum in St. Augustine is open by appointment only until further notice.
