The Ximenez-Fatio House Museum will be participating in this year’s 7th Annual Fiesta de Aviles and First Friday Art Walk in downtown St. Augustine on Friday, October 7 and Saturday, October 8 at 20 Aviles Street. The House Museum activities will be included in St. Augustine celebrations with local business owners, live music and dancing, and art and food plus a twist on the Spanish custom where local and visitors are chased by special guests in “bull” costumes in a sprint down historic Aviles Street. On October 7, the Ximenez-Fatio House along with Fiesta de Avilés art gallery participants and visitors will begin with First Friday Art Walk from 5 to 9 p.m. The Ximenez-Fatio House Museum will be hosting local artisans and artists in their garden throughout the day and continuing through October 8. Aviles Street has become a hub for the art community to share and appreciate the wealth of local talent. Additional street events will include live music and other family-friendly fun activities on both days including the annual Running of the Bulls that will begin on Oct. 8 at 3 p.m. with a children’s race at 3 p.m. and the adult race at 3:30 p.m.
