This award-winning, 277th anniversary commemoration of the 1740 Spanish victory at the “Battle of Bloody Mose” will feature battle re-enactments, a military encampment, and historical displays and demos.

This award-winning, 277th anniversary commemoration of the 1740 Spanish victory at the “Battle of Bloody Mose” will include battle re-enactments, a military encampment, and the combined muster of Florida Living History, Inc.’s historical re-enactors and the Fort Mose Militia, as well as British living-history troops from across the Southeast and local volunteers.  Featured will be battle re-enactments between the British invaders from Georgia and Florida's victorious Spanish defenders, along with their free black militia and Native ... view more »

ADMISSION INFO

Admission to this heritage Event is free of charge to the public.  There is a Museum admission fee of $2.00 per adult; children, age 5 and younger, are free.
