Butterfield Garage Art Gallery Offers Emmett Fritz Paintings

Three oil paintings by legendary St. Augustine artist Emmett Fritz (1917-1975) are being displayed at Butterfield Garage Art Gallery during the month of August.  A student of Norman Rockwell for a brief period, Fritz moved to St. Augustine from Long Island, NY in 1950 and became a prolific and popular plein air painter, producing still lifes, landscapes, marine paintings, and especially paintings of St. Augustine.
