ACT I...Lee Weaver wrote and first performed “Judas” in 1983. He took about twenty minutes on stage. In the 35 years since its debut, the Judas narrative has expanded to forty minutes plus a very brief “Q and A” at its conclusion. That is the best part for many as the audience questions him, challenges him, scolds him and eventually learns from him. He’ll move you and give you pause, before he runs off to end
