Fiesta 450!

EMMA Concert Association presents Fiesta 450!, a six-hour all-Spanish themed extravaganza at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, from 3 to 9 p.m. showcasing St. Augustine’s Spanish heritage.  

3 p.m.-  Gates open
4 to 5:30 p.m. – Free concert.  St. Augustine’s premier arts organizations (St. Augustine Orchestra, St. Augustine Community Chorus, Youth Chorus, First Coast Opera and Limelight Theatre) will present Viva Espana produced by Artistic Director Gary Cadwallader on the main stage of the Amphitheatre.  
5:30 to 7 p.m.- On the Amphitheatre grounds.  The St. Augustine Textile Arts Guild, Heritage (re-enactors) organizations, and the St. Augustine Art Association will provide hands-on activities and demonstrations geared toward family involvement.
7:30 p.m. – Ticketed Evening Concert:  Ensemble Espanol Spanish Dance Theater, the premier Spanish Dance company in the United States, will present a specially choreographed performance for Fiesta 450! including Flamenco, Classical Spanish Dance, Folklore, 18th Century Dances, Ballet and Castanets.  Tickets are from $19 to $39 and can be purchased at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre or Ponte Vedra Box Offices.  Tickets are also available at http://staugamphitheatre.com.
