PAM Jam Showcase & Reception at Ponte Vedra Beach Library

PAM Jam PVB features artists from First Coast Cultural Center paired with poets from A Gathering of Poets who meet at the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. Participants also include Poets & Artists from Women Writing for (a) Change and local musicians.

Mark your calendars for the Showcase at Ponte Vedra Beach Library November 1st to 30th and a Reception on Saturday, November 6 from 12:00 – 4:00 PM.  Meet participants, buy books and journals to benefit PVB Friends of the Library, and watch performances by Sharon Scholl on piano, jazz band Teal Cabana Club featuring Shari Little “The Sax Lady,” and Su Ertekin-Taner & Ian Peiris, both rising stars and Seniors at Bolles High School.

PAM Jam will collect handbags for HopefullHandbags.org, a global outreach organization that supports those in domestic abuse situations.  A drop-off box will be at the library during the showcase in November or bring a handbag filled with necessities to the reception to be entered in the raffle for A Basket of Books & Bottle of Bubbly. PAM Jam will put an inspirational poem and art pic in each bag from its program 101 Poems for Your Pocket…or Purse!

This event is free, but bring cash to buy books, journals, CDs, etc. to benefit participants and Friends of the Library.
