Henry Flagler’s Hotel Ponce de Leon: The Myth and the Marvel of the Hotel Ponce de Leon

Join the Lightner Museum and Florida Humanities for a Gilded Age evening celebrating “The Modern Wonder of the Ancient World” – the Hotel Ponce de Leon.  Flagler College professor and author, Dr. Leslee Keys will present an engaging lecture that defines Henry Flagler’s impact on Florida’s Ancient City. The Spanish Renaissance Revival resort hotel conceived by industrialist and entrepreneur Henry Flagler forever changed St. Augustine’s skyline and his vision transformed a post-reconstruction small southern town into a destination.
