Wednesday Brown Bag Lunch - Fall into Flower Arranging

Master Gardener and designer Dottie Hudson, President of the Gaillardia Circle of the Garden Club of St. Augustine, will share her know-how during this Wednesday Brown Bag Lunch Program. Ms. Hudson will demonstrate how to make a fall flower arrangement, talk about what home garden plants are best to use in lasting flower designs and suggest decorative items to add interest. She’ll go into the practical mechanics of flower arranging and the use of helpful items, some specialized for floral design. Guests will hear about upcoming events of the Garden Club, The Floralines Guild that is dedicated to floral design, and how to join one of the numerous garden circles of the Garden Club of St. Augustine. Some items demonstrated and used in floral design will be for sale after the program. The completed flower arrangement will be raffled off with the proceeds going to Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine to benefit the library. More information: Toni825@hotmail.com
