Wednesday Brown Bag Lunch: Sandra Parks presents: Stetson and Woody

Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine is delighted to welcome back Sandra Parks for the Wednesday Brown Bag Lunch Program. Make your reservations today for her very special presentation about folklorist and human rights advocate Stetson Kennedy and his friendship with folk-singing legend Woody Guthrie. Reservations may be made by calling the library at 904-827-6940.

Included in Parks’s presentation will be a video of Stetson Kennedy talking about Woody and their relationship and work together. This video is part of the Kennedy Archive in St. Augustine. On display for visitors to view will be twelve pieces of Woody Guthrie memorabilia provided by the Stetson Kennedy Foundation. Seating will be more limited than usual to accommodate the display, and reservations are required to guarantee seating. Please call the Main Library at 904-827-6940 to make your reservation.
