St. Augustine Archaeological Association Monthly Meeting

On Tuesday, September 7th, the monthly meeting of the St. Augustine Archaeological Association will be held via Zoom.

A talk will be given by Sean Norman, M.A. titled Seminole Wars Archaeology: The Battle of Wahoo Swamp.

In the fall of 1836, Territorial Governor Richard K. Call led a beleaguered campaign against the Seminoles occupying the Cove of the Withlacoochee. The offensive culminated in the Battle of the Wahoo Swamp, marking the last major engagement in the Withlacoochee theater.
