On February 28th at the Alcazar Room in City Hall, the St. Augustine City Commission will declare March as Minorcan Heritage Month.
Minorcans and Greeks came to St. Augustine in 1768 after years of strife and starvation working on indigo plantations in New Smyrna, Florida.
