100 Thousand Poets For Change 2015

The local observation of 100 Thousand Poets for Change will conclude with an Open Mic. All are invited to share a poem on the subject of change. The reading will be held “renga style” with no emcee or sign-up sheet. The event will end when everyone has had an opportunity to share.

Also, the Ancient City Poets will lead a panel at the Florida Heritage Book Festival the day before. We hope that everyone will come out to support and contribute in the dialogue of how change can be brought about with words. Here is the info on that:

The Florida Heritage Book Festival will host a “Poets for Change” panel discussion with the Ancient City Poets at Flagler College. The free symposium will feature Kimmy Van Kooten, Chris Bodor, Michael Henry Lee and Beverly A. Bell Kessler and is a part of an entire day of writing and book themed workshops, book signings and activities open to the community.
