Ann Browning Masters at Book Talk Café

Learn about mullet-netting, datil pepper-growing, pilau-eating, rum-running times in Northeast Florida from after the Civil War through the Civil Rights Movement.  The next Book Talk Café will feature Ann Browning Masters and a rich slice of Northeast Florida Americana described in her book Floridanos, Menorcans, Cattle-Whip Crackers:  Poetry of St. Augustine.  Sponsored by the Friends of the Library, the program and reading will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 10 at the Ponte Vedra Library.

Author Ann Browning Masters is a Floridana, a Menorcan, and a 12th generation Floridian.  She is an engaging poet who will take you back to a simple-only-on-the-surface time.
