Atmospheric Landscapes with Antwan Ramar

Art that captures the imagination of the viewer is often due to the mood and atmosphere created by the artist. Learn to approach the landscape more artistically by letting go of the detail and over analysis that often kills the expressive life of a painting. This workshop will draw inspiration from past and present masters of landscape painting and will experiment with a looser approach to the subject and paint application, both oil and acrylics. Topics will also include subject and composition, values, tonal studies, color, and beautiful edges that create movement and depth. This workshop is for both beginners and seasoned artists.
