Celebrate Ten - August Open Mic Poetry

The Ancient City Poets will host a community open mic reading.

Readers are invited to share with us your love for the Ancient City Poets, or how your life has changed since you found us.

The theme is meant as a writing prompt and it is your choice if you want to follow the theme or not. Give us two or three of your polished poems or share fresh ink from your notebook. Invite a friend or two or three to cheer you on. Let’s celebrate double digits.

A sign-up sheet will be available at 2:30 and the open mic will start at 3:00 pm. Readers will be called to the podium in the order their names appear on the list. The mic will be turned off at 4:30 to allow the last 30 minutes for a meet and greet and networking.
