The extraordinary life and times of the beloved Florida writer, Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, and her husband, Norton Baskin, are revealed in this play written and directed by Deborah B. Dickey. Nancy Grote (Marjorie) and Ashley Carter (Norton) re-create their roles in the 2013 premiere of this original work. Rawlings is best known for her Pulitzer-Prize novel "The Yearling."Her husband, Norton Baskin, was the proprietor of the Castle Warden Hotel in St. Augustine, now Ripley's Believe It Or Not.
