Dinner with an Artist featuring Ellen Diamond and Bobbi Mastrangelo

“Dinner with an Artist,” a quarterly artist talk and dining experience will be held on March 29th, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Cultural Center’s Scene Gallery. The dinner will feature two artists whose work is currently on display at the Cultural Center.

Master Artist Ellen Diamond will be speaking on her current exhibition, “The Painted Selfie”, which highlights her own works as well as works by her students. The exhibition explores the use of portraiture for artistic self-representation through the lens of a modern era of instant and “Instagrammable” digital self-portraits.

Bobbi Mastrangelo, an artist specializing in relief sculpture, mixed media, and embossed prints on handmade paper, is showcasing her solo exhibition titled, “Grate Works of Art”. Her work is best known for its unusual focus on the theme of manhole covers and water covers, grates and drains.
