Documentary Screening: Latino Americans, 500 Years of History

Dr. Lori Lee, Assistant Professor of Anthropology, will lead discussion after screening an episode of the PBS documentary series, Latino Americans: 500 Years of History. This first episode in the series focuses on Spanish colonialism in what is now the U.S., and discussion will address issues of history, heritage, culture, and identity in colonized places. We’re screening the episode in the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum, allowing the audience to view a related art exhibit by Edgar Endress, Finding Baroque.
