Dots, Pots & Prints: Ceramics + Screenprinting Ages 10-15
Students will create work in various mediums inspired by the artist Yayoi Kusama.
This 3-week class will introduce students to the work of contemporary Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama.
In the first class, students will work with clay to create pieces inspired by her colorful and patterned sculptural work. In the second week, students will glaze ceramic work as well as create designs for screenprinting. The final class will be spent screenprinting, working on polka dot paintings, photographing work in a mini “infinity room” and enjoying some fun Japanese snacks together!

Additional time info:
This class is for young artists ages 10-15. All supplies and equipment are included in class cost with the option to bring in a blank shirt, tote or tea towel to screen print on. Student work will all be finished and taken home on the last day.
You may park anywhere in the complex. Street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood areas.
