From Velasquez to Picasso - Art Camp

The Smiling Easel’s summer sessions focus on nurturing the creativity of the young artists. Lessons are hands-on, with students completing between one and two teacher lead projects a day, related to the camp theme. Additionally, opportunities for independent work, such as Easel painting or drawing in their notebooks will be provided. Students have the chance to socialize with peers, be immersed in creativity in a safe, fun environment. Children in grades pre-k – 3rd grade (flexible)will gain exposure to art history, various cultures and a variety of mediums, to include; pencils, paint, markers, charcoal, pastels and clay.
